KFIT USA Master Trainer, CSCS, ACE, SFG
KFIT USA Director of Growth & Development

Chasen’s passion is to help people be strong, move, and feel better. He has always had a passion for athletics. Growing up, Chasen played soccer and baseball. He received his Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science from the University of Arizona in 1996 and he became certified as a Personal Trainer in 1997. Chasen spent a year working at Sharp Memorial Sports Medicine Center, where he gained valuable knowledge on sports injuries and how to rehabilitate the body through exercise.

Chasen coached high school soccer and baseball at La Jolla Country Day School, where he was able to develop strength and conditioning programs with high school athletes. As a Fitness Director at the Jewish Community Center in La Jolla, CA, Chasen learned to manage a fitness facility and trained clients of all ages and at different fitness levels. In 2009, the JCC hosted an RKC Level 1 certification and that is where he found his passion for kettlebells. Every year the JCC hosted a kettlebell certification, RKC or SFG.

Chasen was asked to be a Assistant Team Leader teaching others to utilize kettlebells as a tool to create strength and overall true fitness and mobility. He has used kettlebells to train his athletes and clients with incredible results. Chasen found KFIT USA kettlebells, where he became certified as a Master Trainer, because he saw a need for KFIT’s smooth style. This is beneficial to people of all ages and of physical and athletic experience because of the low impact and rhythm of the movements.

Mike Libercci KFIT USA Master TrainerMike Libercci Kettlebell Trainer
Michael Libercci, New Jersey
KFIT Master Trainer, KFIT Business Coach, CPT, MATs

Since 1996 Michael has had a passion for fitness.  Being a lifelong athlete, exercise and fitness have been a necessity.  Years of competitive football, swimming, cycling, combat sports and feats of strength have driven Michael to use exercise to improve performance.  After graduating college with a Bachelor of Science in human behavior, Michael started his business in fitness.  Now 12 years later he spends his career in the post rehabilitation and body performance arena.  With over 10,000 hours of client sessions and over 600 hours of post college formal biomechanics studies. Michael is an expert in assessing and implementing strategies to improve the performance of the body and maintain a pain free state of being. Everything is about Muscle, Tendons, Joints, Bones and Fascia, and how they interrelate relative to function.   Every day of Michael’s professional life is spent analyzing the latest and oldest trends in the fitness industry and their “real time” effects on the body.  His clientele ranges from professional athletes: Golf, NBA, NFL, MLS, MLB, to everyday ordinary people.  Working daily with this population and using the human body as his canvas. Michael creates and designs movement; both with and without resistance for improving function and ability of people to reach their goals,  which range from living without pain or playing optimally on game day.  Being a Muscle Activation Techniques Specialist (MATs) requires him to analyze the body from the foot to the head.  Michael’s exercise and movement creation is also designed and implemented in this manner. His progression of people is based upon the skill and physical ability of the person performing the task.  This is Michael’s everyday approach to clients and teaching.

Elite fitness professionals are required to be versed in many modalities and equipment. In Michael’s everyday life both personal and professional, he uses equipment ranging from the body itself to selectorized machines.  Implementing techniques that span from old time strong men to the most modern in performance, it is crucial to not have a bias towards one type of resistance.   Through the Resistance Training Specialist Mastery (RTSm) level program, Michael has an acute understanding of the effects gravity and external resistance has on the body and its structure.

One of his favorite tools is the kettle bell; therefore KFIT is the perfect synergy for what he is trying to do in the exercise world.  Vanessa has developed a program that comes from a background where the actions of the body both with and without external resistance are taken into account. The KFIT method is a great fit for the person trying to maximize the kettle bell experience.

Sports Background – I’ve played almost everything at some level, whether competitive or purely recreational, although I’ve excelled at Volleyball, baseball and golf, and have a great passion for all sports.   My ultimate goal is to maximize the athletic ability of any and all athletes to help them take their game to the highest level possible.

My education in engineering and physics has helped me to see fitness training as the science that it should be treated as.   Training for optimum performance is not a mystical thing that just happens, it requires study and research to determine the best practices to utilize, and what to discard from the training regimen.   The more I learn, the more I can perfect my analysis of this science.

Aaron Shelton KFIT USA Master TrainerAaron Shelton
Aaron Shelton, VA
Doctor of Physical Therapy, KFIT East Coast Director of Education,
KFIT USA Master Trainer

Aaron is a doctor of physical therapy who has a sports medicine focus in his daily practice. He received his doctorate from Marymount University in Arlington, VA and an undergraduate degree in sports medicine and wellness from Averett University in Danville, VA. Aaron’s passion for sports, sports performance, and rehabilitation was spurred from his own experiences in athletics. He participated in basketball during high school, college, and in semi-professional competition. Throughout college, sports medicine was a natural fit as Aaron enjoyed taking the educational basis received in class and applying it to the process of rehabilitation and return to sport performance.
Aaron takes a functional movement based approach to both physical therapy and training, progressing people in two major areas: from the floor to function and from function to sport. Restoring proper movement patterns and incorporating the engagement of the core, hips, and postural muscles is the key to this process and a great place for kettlebells to be utilized. After taking KFIT Level 1, Aaron began incorporating kettlebell training into daily practice for himself as well as for his patients and clients. Aaron believes that they add a great stressor into exercise that requires individuals to use a combination of strength, stability, endurance, and neuromuscular interactions. Kettlebells force the user to become more body aware in a dynamic environment which translates over into functional and sports activities. Aaron strives to keep a well-rounded continuing education and certification basis by incorporating both sports medicine grounded physical therapy classes as well as training style classes.
Examples of these are:
    >Functional Movement Screen (Certified) and Advanced FMS
    >Selective Functional Movement Assessment and Advanced SFMA
    >Titleist Performance Institute Level 1 (Certified)
    >TRX Level 1 and 2 (Qualified)
    >Crossfit Level 1 Trainer
    >Certified Personal Trainer
Aaron is very enthusiastic about being on the KFIT team, teaching the KFIT kettlebell concepts, and working to enrich the educational experience and program on the east coast.
